An introduction to LettUs Grow

LettUs Grow is a fast-paced and environmentally conscious organisation based in the heart of Bristol. We design technology for indoor and greenhouse farmers around the world with the mission to reduce the waste and carbon footprint of fresh produce through our innovative aeroponic growing systems.

We’re a certified B Corp, are Flexa certified and have won numerous awards for our company culture. We’re a mission driven company who takes the triple bottom line one step further: people, planet, profit and plants too.

With a team of open, caring and ambitious peers, working in a technically-challenging and impact-driven industry, this is somewhere to really make your mark on society and help feed the next generation.

An introduction to the role:

As Logistics Coordinator at LettUs Grow, you will be a crucial member of our Delivery Team team and you’ll take charge of our procurement, logistics and stock management - ensuring our pioneering agricultural technology reaches customers efficiently, seamlessly and sustainably.

The position is full time and is based from our main office in Brislington, Bristol. You’ll be at the heart of our delivery operations, keeping our workshop running smoothly and ensuring our team has everything they need to succeed. Because of the nature of this role, you’ll be working mostly from our main office in Bristol, however you will also have the opportunity for the occasional remote day.

If you’ve ever worked in operations (in any industry!), take pride in getting things done quickly and efficiently and enjoy organising spaces - we’d love to hear from you!

You can expect to be delegated responsibility at an early stage. This role is ideal for a positive, organised and methodical applicant who is keen to grow with an impact-led organisation.

We look forward to welcoming you to our diverse team of horticulturists, growers, engineers, commercial and operations experts, to design and build the next generation of indoor farming technology together.

Salary band:

£27,000 - £32,000 dependent upon experience alongside a benefits package designed to foster your personal and professional development.

Application deadline:

Monday, April 21st, 2025

Role responsibilities:

  • Take charge of logistics, coordinating shipments of packages, palletised and non-palletised goods across the UK and internationally, while handling customs processes where required.
  • Own the procurement process, sourcing consumables, spare parts, inventory, and materials for project-specific Bills of Materials.
  • Oversee goods-in management, ensuring all inward deliveries are quality control checked and assigned to teams/projects accordingly
  • Manage stock and inventory, keeping track of consumables, spare parts, and essential materials.
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the workshop, championing workshop etiquette, cleanliness, and Health & Safety, as well as organising full-team tidy sessions.

Who are you?

  • You’re highly organised and you’re able to juggle multiple responsibilities while keeping systems and processes running smoothly.
  • You’re a natural go-getter who is comfortable working both proactively and reactively. When presented with a challenge, you’re excited to tackle it.
  • You’re methodical and tidy with a keen eye for maintaining an organised physical workspace.
  • You’re a team player who is excited to contribute to a small, passionate team in a start up environment.
  • You’re an open, honest and helpful person. You treat people with respect.
  • You’re an active listener and enjoy working with people from all walks of life.
  • You’re passionate about sustainability, specifically our food system, and you care about the world around you.

What you need:

  • Experience with procurement or purchasing.
  • Experience managing & organising stock. This could be in hospitality, retail or in an engineering setting.
  • Experience in a forward facing role. You’re not afraid to pick up the phone, chase suppliers, coordinate logistics, and quickly resolve issues as they arise.
  • A full UK driving licence with access to a personal vehicle (in addition our company van, Misty)
  • A desire to be embedded in a small and dynamic company. We are looking for someone who wants to be an integral part of our team & culture.

Also desirable:

  • Experience in a start up environment.
  • Experience in a workshop environment, with familiarity in using basic tools.
