We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Logistics Manager to manage and oversee the transportation, storage, and delivery of our salmon products. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the ideal candidate will ensure the timely and safe movement of perishable goods while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

As a Salmon Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, timely, and compliant movement of our premium salmon products from Scotland to customers worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating daily logistics and shipping schedules to meet customer demands and operational timelines.
• Working closely with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, and cold storage providers to ensure efficient and reliable transportation.
• Monitoring and tracking shipments in real time, identifying and resolving delays or disruptions as they occur.
• Ensuring all products are transported and handled in compliance with health, safety, and temperature control regulations.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date shipping records, inventory logs, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborating with the sales and operations teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Managing import/export paperwork and customs clearance processes when required.
• Planning and optimizing delivery schedules and supplier coordination for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, delivery timing, and handling requirements.
• Providing holiday cover and support for the Supply Chain Manager as needed.
