What will you be doing?
As a Machine Shop Engineer for BES Group, you will be prepping weld test pieces, maintaining the work shop and supporting/training more junior team members. You will be based with our team in Salford.
This Includes
- Preparing weld test pieces for testing to ISO standards
- Working to drawings/iso standards
- Operating milling machines, lathes and band saws
- Ordering tooling
- Maintaining system under a good health and safety regime
- Mentoring of trainees through apprenticeship scheme

To be join our team as a Machine Shop Engineer, you will need:
- Experience in operating milling machines, lathes and band saws is essential
- An Engineering qualification at Level 3 or equivalent (including city and guilds)
- Desirable is an apprenticeship in a Machine Shop trade
- Ability to support and train more junior members of staff
