Maintenance Engineer Wanted ⚡
My client is a leader within off-grid renewable energy solutions, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
If you're all about solving problems, keeping equipment in top shape, and making sure everything’s safe and efficient, this could be your next big move.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🛠 Electrical Work:
- Routine checks and repairs on depot electrics, wiring, and equipment
- Fix faults quickly to keep downtime low
- Install and test new electrical systems – safely and by the book
🔧 General Maintenance:
- Tackle mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs as needed
- Help maintain depot infrastructure – lights, power, and more
- Lend a hand on upgrades and new installs
⚠️ Safety First:
- Stick to Health & Safety rules and wiring regulations (17th/18th Edition)
- Carry out tests and certify electrical work
- Follow risk assessments and always work safely
📋 Reporting & Records:
- Keep logs of your work, tests, and fixes
- Complete daily reports and flag any improvements needed
🤝 Team Player:
- Work closely with other engineers, depot teams, and contractors
- Share knowledge and help train junior team members when needed
What You’ll Need:
🎓 Qualifications:
- Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
- 17th or 18th Edition certified
- PAT testing cert is a bonus
💼 Experience:
- Solid background in electrical maintenance and fault-finding
- Depot or industrial setting experience is ideal
- Bonus if you’ve got general maintenance know-how (mechanical, HVAC, etc.)

- Confident with electrical systems and schematics
- Great problem-solver with a proactive mindset
- Strong communicator, organised, and cool under pressure
- Team player who also works well solo
