Craft Engineering Technician / Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical)
Location: Bridgwater
Contract: Permanent – 4 on 4 off, 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am (2 days / 2 nights)

We’re recruiting for a Craft Engineer to join our Bridgwater dairy, part of Müller Milk & Ingredients. In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment, helping to drive plant reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and basic electrical isolations
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and equipment reliability
- Provide technical advice on engineering practices and maintenance issues
- Participate or lead BDRs, SEA, and RCA activities
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering (electrical or mechanical)
- Practical engineering experience (sector background is flexible)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Effective communicator and team player
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Awareness of health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Shift Pattern
4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (2 days, 2 nights)
