We are looking for three Engineer’s to join us at our growing Buckingham site.
The shift for these roles as follows:
- 3 weeks – 06:00 – 14:00 - Monday to Friday
- 1 week – 14:00 – 00:00 - Monday to Thursday
- On a rotating basis
We are looking for one role to start as soon as possible and the second roles to join the team in July 2025.
Your Mission
As an Engineer at our site, your will mission will be guaranteeing and achieving the required availability (operational safety and efficiency) of the factory on a day-to-day basis and the active and quantifiable contribution to the continued reduction of production costs.
The Engineer is responsible for supporting factory performance and is responsible for supporting the implementation of the continuous improvement program towards Operational Excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Delivery of the Engineering departments compliance to all applicable legal regulations and international food safety standards in support of the Production site, this encompasses safety, functional competencies, working conditions, environment, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Prerequisite Programs (PRP), British Retail Consortium (BRC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Halal, Kosher, allergens
- To support and action instructions issued by the Process Improvement Manager/Engineering Manager
- To deputise for the Engineering Manager
- Compliance with the Company’s Quality and HACCP systems and Food Hygiene policy
- To promote a safety conscious workplace, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety policy and adherence to current H&S legislation
- To seek continuous improvement in work practices and methods, using Manufacturing Excellence techniques, to identify and implement/recommend cost reductions.
- Alignment of maintenance with the indicated production and asset strategy, the logistics planning and the production planning, and the relevant internal and external regulations on quality and safety
- Identify and implement improvements to processes as agreed with the senior management team
- To facilitate process equipment maintained to standards that minimises breakdowns and reduces unplanned downtime.
- To facilitate the maintenance of the building and services to levels expected from Insurers and other independent reports
- The effective and efficient balancing of maintenance supply and demand in the medium and long term, as regards both quantity and quality
- The organising of maintenance in the most effective and efficient manner
- Monitoring the facilities and staff on the shop floor.
- Reporting and managing the related KPIs
- Ordering of maintenance related expenditures as requested
- Ensure the maintenance of the utilities & HVAC installations (compressed dry air, water and electricity supplies,)
- Fulfilling the energy consumption monitoring and all related activities
- Provide support for the life cycle, asset & risk management of all utilities & facilities related equipment
- Managing investment projects for utilities & facilities related installations as well as automation related projects
- Responsible for the calibration activities on production equipment on critical weigh systems, temperature & flow measurements
- Support the CAPEX plans as required.

- Electrical Engineering qualifications, time-served engineering qualifications
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience ideally in a comparable production environment
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Have good proficiency in data processing tools like SAP and Excel
- Be knowledgeable in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, as well as autonomous maintenance principles
