Management Accountant

JSS are pleased to be partnered with a PE backed, growing organisation with a very unique asset class.

The Management Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for ongoing

general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations and operating cost reviews. The Management

Accountant will report to the Assistant Financial Controller and also work alongside the Financial Controller, the Revenue Assurance team and the Chief Financial Officer.

This role would be well suited to a newly qualified ACA who is looking to make their first move into practice.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Assist the financial reporting team in producing accurate and timely consolidated monthly
• management accounts and quarterly reporting with responsibility over the following areas:
• Management fee reconciliations
• Loan interest calculations
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Amortisation
• Operating expenses and cost accruals
• Responsibility for completion of balance sheet reconciliations and OPEX review files
• Assist in statutory accounts preparation for UK SPV’s
• Assist in the year end audit of the consolidated financial statements and the UK SPV financial statements
• Assist in ad hoc reporting, analysis and BAU activities

Insourcing project

• Insource external book keeping function to create a centralized finance team in London
• Fully audit and reconciliation of historical data
• Establish payroll accounting process and controls
• Establish lease liability accounting process and controls
• ERP transition from historical ERP system to Dynamics (current ERP system)
• Accounting framework transition (IFRS v US GAAP)

Dynamics (ERP) responsibilities

• Management of ERP system development and ongoing maintenance
• System revaluations for foreign currency movements
• Creation of new companies, GL accounts and dimensions
• Relationship management with the system support provider
• Support the continuous improvement of financial reporting within the ERP system

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA qualified with good academics
• Practice trained with some accounts prep experience is preferred
• Proactive self starter
• Strong team player
