Management Accountant - Private Equity

JSS Financial Services are partnered with a mid-market Private Equity house that are looking for progressive and ambitious individuals who are looking for their first move from practice/Audit.

This is a high performing team with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow.

Role highlights include:

• Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts & board reports for the group
• Preparing quarterly reports to external investors
• Analysing and applying quarterly valuations to the investments within the management entities
• Gain exposure to other facets of the firm across tax, VAT, deals and transactions, and to understand why businesses are structured a certain way in private equity.
• Preparing recharges to and reconciling transactions with fund entities and portfolio companies
• Continually looking for improvements to procedures and processes
• Keeping informed of changes to regulatory and accounting requirements
• Assisting with other ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
• Performing financial analysis against the annual budget and preparing financial forecasts.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA qualified 0-2 years PQE with 1st time passes
• Client exposure to Asset Management/Private Equity/Funds preferred
• Hands on accounting experience is beneficial (welcome candidates from smaller practices)
• High determination to both personally succeed and drive business forward
• Process improvement mindset

What's on offer?

• £60,000-65,000 with strong performance based bonus
