The Market Structure Specialist acts as a key liaison for exchange-driven regulatory projects, working closely with Product and Delivery teams. The role provides internal subject matter expertise on exchange-related matters and is responsible for product validation to ensure solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The Market Structure Specialist acts as a key liaison for exchange-driven regulatory projects, working closely with Product and Delivery teams. The role provides internal subject matter expertise on exchange-related matters and is responsible for product validation to ensure solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in:
- Stay current on Canadian equity and derivatives market structure developments.
- Advise clients on market features, routing solutions, and best execution practices.
- Provide SME support on exchange queries and assist with issue management.
- Perform Product Acceptance Testing (PAT) to validate builds against requirements.
- Participate in Tier 3 support for production issues and change control.
- Produce and maintain product documentation (e.g., FAQs, user guides, Slack bots).
- Handle projects related to routing strategies such as: Best Market Router, Fee-Based and Destination-Based Routing, Multi-leg Options and Conditional Orders, Fee Model pilots and maintenance, Script and maintain execution reports.
- A strong understanding of Canadian market structure and routing strategies.
- Skilled in problem-solving, data analysis, and programming (e.g., Lua, Python, SQL, C++).
- Highly organized with excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Adaptable, resilient, and motivated to deliver quality solutions.
- This role is ideal for someone with a blend of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and a deep understanding of the Canadian trading landscape.
