Supporting the reinsurance division at AXA XL to drive business growth via a variety of marketing and communication tactics. Reporting to the Marketing and Communication Director, Reinsurance and based in London, the role will primarily be focused on social and digital marketing initiatives; the creation of internal and external copy; assisting with the preparation for conferences and events; working to support the external comms function; organising social and digital marketing initiatives and creating content in a variety of formats.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Creating content in a variety of formats (written/video/blog/social) to demonstrate the thought leadership capability of AXA XL Reinsurance
  • Posting and monitoring social media content alongside other key digital marketing initiatives
  • Writing internal and external copy for the intranet, web, and press releases
  • Assisting in the execution of market events including, seminars, webinars, trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, AXA XL-owned events and marketing hospitality events
  • Ensuring timely execution of projects by working closely with the internal Brand & Design, Media/PR and Digital teams and other areas as relevant.
  • Working closely with the business leaders within the unit and the client intelligence team to create accurate messaging and identifying the correct target audience for marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring all internal processes are followed, and all key stakeholders have signed off on all content and initiatives
  • Effectively representing the Marketing function at internal business meetings and external industry events.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • Copy writing: Ability to write copy from notes, interviews, and discussions with key stakeholders
  • Social and digital marketing: Experience and knowledge of social and digital marketing channels and tactics
  • Flexibility: Ability to swiftly change priorities to accommodate time-sensitive projects
  • Market knowledge: Knowledge ideally of reinsurance market, or alternatively insurance marketplace
  • Organised: Able to organise and prioritise multiple tasks so work is completed in timely and accurate manner.
  • Attention to detail: to ensure copy is correct, proofed and design adheres to branding criteria.
  • Experience: proven previous experience in a marketing assistant role or similar preferably within the (re)insurance market.
