We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in the Aberdeen corporate office.


This role offers £25,000 plus benefits.


The Role:

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Glacier Energy brand and marketing activities for the next stage of the group's exciting growth journey. The Marketing Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the brands success by working in collaboration with the marketing team and business leaders to support the development of marketing collateral that promotes Glacier Energy’s products and services. This includes but is not restricted to, supporting the development of the Glacier Energy website and social media accounts, which involves creative, analytical and administrative skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of engaging social media content that promotes our brand story, group expertise & capabilities
  • Support the production of new marketing literature that promotes Glacier Energy’s product and service lines
  • Support the creation of website content
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance through tools such as Google Analytics
  • Conduct business and marketing research as and when required
  • Support the production of content for internal communications for Glacier Energy’s intranet and newsletter
  • Organise and support the attendance at any events, conferences, and webinars
  • Provide marketing administration support tasks such as keeping subscriptions and events registers up to date across the Group


Requirements

  • Marketing / Communications, Business Management or similar degree qualified, 2:1 or above
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Canva
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong copy-writing skills, have a keen eye for detail and understand the concepts of both digital and non-digital marketing
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and use their initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable
