Purpose of the role:

The Marketing Effectiveness Lead will play a key role in measuring and improving the performance of our marketing activities. You will work closely with data and commercial teams to ensure our marketing spend is effective, and our campaigns deliver measurable results.

This role will focus on post-campaign analysis (PCA), budget optimisation, and the implementation of strategies that improve marketing ROI.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Campaign Analysis (PCA):

  • Lead full funnel post-campaign reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity across teams.
  • Analyse marketing performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Analyse marketing performance across the entire customer journey, from awareness through to conversion, ensuring a cohesive understanding of effectiveness at each stage.
  • Ensure that data insights are actionable and fed into future marketing learning, providing clarity on the "WHY" behind campaign successes or areas for improvement.
  • Econometrics:
  • Work with the data team to ensure econometric models are effectively applied in marketing planning and performance analysis.
  • Budget Optimisation & ROI Improvement:
  • Work closely with the commercial and finance teams to ensure marketing spend is efficient.
  • Collaboration with Data, Engagement, Brand & Growth teams:
  • Leverage internal and external data to develop comprehensive insights on customer behaviour, campaign performance, and market trends.
