Marketing Manager - German Speaking
£30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented German Marketing Campaign Manager to adapt and execute marketing campaigns in our German market (AbenteuerWege). You’ll be the bridge between our global brand and digital strategies and local execution, ensuring that campaigns are expertly adapted and resonate with our German audience.
This role is for someone who thrives on crafting impactful email marketing campaigns, and managing SEO driven and customer-first web content. Working closely with cross-functional teams, your role will also support across performance channels, social media, product merchandising, and other online and offline channels, ensuring brand assets are translated and strategy is adapted for the German market.
The role is based in the company's global headquarters in Glasgow, and all applicants must have the right to work in the UK and have fluent/native-level German language skills. We can consider hybrid home/office working (with a minimum of 3 days in the office).

What you’ll do;
Working closely with the global marketing team and aligning with colleagues in the wider AbenteuerWege team, you’ll bring a passion for delivering customer-first campaigns tailored to the needs of the market.
- Devise and adapt content to deliver high-performing German email marketing that drives engagement and conversion. Alongside localising global campaigns, you’ll also plan and create market-specific campaigns for the German audience.
- Manage and maintain localized content across all brand websites, with a primary focus on the German website. You’ll take ownership of marketing content for the German site, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the brand’s standards.
- Ensuring the German market website aligns with campaign requirements and SEO requirements and best practice to drive traffic and conversions.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team across brand and performance to support in adapting and executing assets, campaigns and content for the German market (eg. Social Media or Paid Performance channels)
- Maintain engagement with the brand’s community by promoting, monitoring and activating social media and community group channels.
- Foster a partnership with the Product Marketing Managers to ensure merchandising of products aligns with the brand, with a focus on the German language market.
What you’ll bring;
- German Language: Native level spoken and written language, with strong copywriting skills.
- English Language: Fluent or proficient spoken and written language, with strong copywriting skills.
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, with hands-on involvement across multiple channels and the broader marketing mix.
- Experience using website CMS platforms to confidently edit and publish content that is engaging and conversion focused.
- Experience of planning and executing email marketing campaigns aligned with brand voice and market need, which drive engagement and conversion.
- A good understanding of core marketing metrics and KPIs and experience using reporting tools e.g. GA4 to analyse and optimise performance
Not essential, it would be a bonus if you;
- Have some experience with producing visually compelling image content (e.g. Canva, Adobe suite)
