The role
This is a unique hybrid role spanning marketing, community and technology - driving brand growth, nurturing our global creative network, and helping shape the future of our tech platform.
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be the expert in social media brand building and empowered to do what you think is right and exciting for Untold Fable – spotting and jumping on trends, putting Untold Fable in the right conversations, and celebrating everything we do. You’ll lead the growth of Untold Fable’s social media channels, planning and owning an organic/paid strategy that drives awareness, engagement and, on LinkedIn, new business leads.
You’ll collaborate with the wider team on strategic growth of Untold Fable’s most important USP – our global network of production talent. You’ll own CRM communications with our clients, our network, and the wider AnalogFolk Group, sharing our work and news to keep building our reputation with key stakeholders. You’ll also work closely with marketing colleagues in the AnalogFolk Group on PR initiatives, awards strategies and entries.
You’ll take a leading role in nurturing our creative network of 6,000+ filmmakers – working closely with them to ensure they have a seamless and positive experience with Untold Fable across both communications and technology. You’ll be responsible for driving engagement and ensuring the community continues to grow, thrive and actively participate in Untold Fable’s ecosystem.
In addition, you’ll help design and implement the long-term vision for our tech platform, planning and executing development sprints to ensure our two developers are delivering effectively and efficiently. You’ll take input from across the team on which features, improvements, or tools should be prioritised, and you’ll oversee the timely resolution of bugs and technical issues to maintain a high-performing platform.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute an integrated B2B marketing strategy aligned with company goals
- Own the marketing calendar, including campaigns, launches, events and award timelines
- Track KPIs and report performance against objectives (brand awareness, lead generation, engagement)
Content & Communications
- Manage and create content for social, LinkedIn, website, newsletters, and thought leadership
- Manage both paid and organic social content campaigns Oversee case study development, working with Production and Sales teams to spotlight key work
- Support commercial outreach and product marketing
Partnerships & Events
- Lead planning and execution of industry events, panels and sponsorships
- Collaborate with partners, clients, and creatives to amplify brand moments and campaigns
- Manage speaker opportunities, award entries and help coordinate PR activities
Brand & Community
- Work closely with the creative network to ensure they are having a good experience with Untold Fable from a comms and technology perspective Ensure the community is growing and engaging with Untold Fable
- Maintain and evolve brand consistency across channels and touchpoints
- Champion diversity through all marketing activities and community engagement
Nice to have but not necessary - Technology
- Help to design and implement the vision for the tech product
- Plan and execute technology developments sprints to ensure our two developers are delivering in an optimised manner
- Take direction from the team on what tech products and or improvements need implementing
- Ensure all bugs are fixed in a timely manner
Your Skills
- Experience delivering successful paid and organic social media strategies for brands across our priority platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube). Budgets are relatively small
- An ever-evolving knowledge of the best/newest practices, trends and opportunities across social channelsLinkedIn brand-building expertise
- Confident and versatile writer, able to craft engaging, high-quality copy across social media and email marketing.
- Ability to work with our creative director on a brand tone of voice, ensuring our messaging aligns with this and seamlessly works across platforms while keeping it fresh, relevant, and audience-focused.
- Proven ideation, storytelling and writing skills
- An ability to think and work fast autonomously
