Job Title: Material Resource Planning Controller
Location: Lincoln (Teal Park)
Contract Length: 12 months
Shift Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Siemens Energy Industrial Turbomachinery Ltd (SEITL) for a Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller to join their team based in Lincoln.
What will you do?
As an MRP Controller, you will:
- Develop and manage delivery schedules to meet master production plans and customer demands.
- Maintain and optimise stock levels across the supply chain.
- Respond to demand changes and communicate implications to the Regional Purchase Manager.
- Ensure SAP and ERP systems reflect real-time supplier delivery data.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delays and delivery risks, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct supplier reviews focusing on delivery, cost, and quality performance.
- Analyse capacity constraints and escalate critical issues proactively.
- Lead operational relationships with key suppliers and act as the main point of contact for scheduling and supply chain performance.
- What do you need to bring?
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing or Logistics.
- Strong understanding of MRP systems and ERP tools (SAP experience highly desirable).
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Data analysis skills with experience using Excel and planning reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail.
- Experience working with KPIs, particularly in areas like On-Time Delivery (OTD).
Desirable:
- Experience in supplier relationship management.
- Load & capacity planning knowledge.
- Familiarity with production control processes and continuous improvement environments.
- Background in similar industries (e.g., aerospace, heavy engineering – Rolls-Royce experience is a plus).
- Driving licence for occasional UK travel to suppliers.
