Mechanical Inspector

RINA is looking for experienced Mechanical Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• previous experience of carrying out inspections at JGC Engineering and Technical Services Ltd and shim assemblies, this would be beneficial.
• Conducting inspections of shim assemblies, and has experience with PIF Shims, Pins and Bearings
• Mechanical Degree ( Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches) / certificates such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.
• Experience as Mechanical Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
