Responsibilities
- Design & develop a Cobot application in CAD.
- Design & develop bespoke mechanical solutions for the project.
- Create a virtual simulation of the application.
- Electrical design of robotics applications, i.e. component selection and circuit design
- Programming of industrial devices, e.g. PLCs, Safety Scanners, Vision Systems, Sensors
- Creation of electrical schematics
- Hardware implementation of control circuits
- Cobot Programming
- Arrange manufacturing of equipment and support build.
- Liaise with software engineer and project manager to keep in line with project scope & timeline.
- Support installation of Cobots at customers site.
- Provide stand-by support to customer following commissioning of Cobots.
What we expect
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Controls/Robotics Engineering or equivalent
- CAD & Simulation skills
- Knowledge of programming & electrical systems
- Mindset to innovate and go the extra mile
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Periodic business travel and a valid UK driving licence
- Knowledge/Experience in Robotics/Cobots
- Knowledge of Java and/or Python
