Reporting to the Meetings & Events Sales Manager, you will assist in maximizing the sales potential and support the achievement of the meetings and events sales targets for the hotel.

Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for incoming enquiries through phone, email and 3rd party sites, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution and back to sales
- Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high-level service through pre–event, during event and post event.
- Attend weekly function sheet meetings
- Attend daily morning and afternoon catch ups
- Meet and greet prospective guests and conduct show rounds on property
- Prepare sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts and pro-forma’s
- Upsell to maximise revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
- Ownership for the management and conversion of assigned enquiries
- Event billing
- Correct use of systems process to ensure booking integrity, consistency & accuracy.
What You Will Need
- Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not essential.
- An interest in sales and the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an excellent command of the English language.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to identify opportunities to support hotel revenue.
- Basic interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
