Exit Support Consultant – PE-Backed Services Business

12-Month Interim Contract | London | £1200-£1500 per day | Outside IR35

Stanton House is exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed services business in London to appoint an Exit Support Consultant for a 12-month interim engagement. With an EBITDA of £40m and an acquisitive growth strategy, the business is now preparing for a significant liquidity event targeted for the end of 2025.

They are seeking a seasoned M&A professional to support the CFO and leadership team through all phases of the exit process, with a particular focus on due diligence readiness and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CFO to lead exit readiness efforts, including full data room preparation and management.
  • Compile, structure, and review all financial, legal, and operational documentation required for due diligence.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations) to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  • Work closely with external advisors—lawyers, accountants, and investment banks—to coordinate all deal-related activities.
  • Ensure all materials in the data room are accurately formatted, consistent, and deal-ready.
  • Support the CFO in managing buyer queries and responding to DD requests.
  • Assist in building financial models, valuation materials, and exit-related reporting.
  • Provide post-transaction support as needed, including transitional planning and integration.

Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong track record of leading or managing sell-side processes within complex service-based businesses.
  • Proven experience supporting both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, ideally in PE-backed environments.
  • Solid understanding of due diligence requirements across finance, legal, and operational workstreams.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and navigating complex stakeholder groups.
  • Comfortable operating independently, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with an experienced leadership team on a pivotal transaction. If you’re a commercially focused, execution-driven professional with strong sell-side M&A credentials, we’d love to hear from you
