The Role:
Studio XAG is looking for a Middleweight Project Manager to manage world-class production from our London headquarters and deliver the show-stopping storytelling we are famous for.
Reporting into an Associate Project Director, you would be part of our world-class Project Management Team, working in a challenging, exciting and creative environment. Having the opportunity to support your APD on New Business; bringing our work to life in our on-site workshop within a very short space of time.
Working closely with your Associate Project Director and the Head of Project Management, the Middleweight Project Manager will provide visibility on project progress, timelines, budgets and margins. Accountable for the successful delivery of their projects, delivered on time and on budget.
Requirements
Who exactly are we looking for?
We're looking for a confident, fast and highly organised Middleweight Project Manager who has a hunger for facilitating the creation of inspiring industry-leading work.
Ideal Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Industry player with client-facing experience
- Strong understanding of production processes
- Strong IT skills - in particular Excel and Google sheets. Synergist is a plus
- Organisational master
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Leadership qualities and a hunger to deliver the best results
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple small-medium projects
- Managing your own client relationships, working closely with your Associate Project Director, Head of Department and Directors to nurture them
- Supporting your Associate Project Director and team with costing and research, to maximise efficiency and capacity
- Main point of contact for your clients, managing expectations and stakeholders internally and externally throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Project planning, quoting, forecasting and reporting. Ensuring your projects are delivered on time and on budget
- With the support of the Traffic Manager, successfully managing resourcing to ensure successful project workflow through our internal teams: concept design, to fabrication and installation
- Collaborating with in-house Production teams to bring projects to life to the highest standards
- Managing and growing external supplier relationships to outsource production as and when needed
- Confidence in quality control, ensuring clients' high standards of execution are met
- Planning and executing installations both in the UK and overseas
- Overseeing every detail of a project from start to finish to logistics - you will be the person who knows the answers, or where to find them
- Training and nurturing more junior team members where possible
Location:
We currently work a hybrid model; 3 days a week from our East London studio and 2 flexible days.
Our normal working hours are 9am - 6pm but flexible working hours and days are available.

Salary: £32,000 - £41,000, DOE. Please state expectations on application.
