What You’ll Do:
Premier League Productions (PLP) are proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. Globally, we broadcast to 190 out of 193 UN member states, serve over 100 broadcast partners and our work is available to 704million homes. Our wide array of high quality output includes live matches, digital content, studio shows, promos and magazine programming, all delivered across multiple platforms.
With a steady increase of scope across the past few years we are looking to expand the team. We are seeking the world’s most exciting creative talent to join our in-house Creative team, delivering best in class creative and cutting-edge design that engages and inspires Premier League fans across the globe.
We have an opening for a Middleweight Static Graphic Designer to join our team on a fixed term contract until June 2025. You will be responsible for crafting brilliant static design primarily across our broadcast features and live studio shows. From time to time you will be required to support your design colleague across our other departments including promos, campaigns and digital content.
Fearlessly creative and passionate about elite football, you will work closely with Senior Designers, a Lead Designer, Head of Creative and with Creative Producers to realise briefs from conception through to execution, working to fixed deadlines and delivering on time. Additionally, you will work within brand guidelines, as well as having the flexibility and confidence to present new and innovative ideas to the table. Being able to clearly pitch and present visual ideas concisely and take direction from Lead and Senior Designers is key.
We produce broadcast content that is delivered to over 100 broadcast partners across the globe. The design team support all graphics that help create 12+ programmes weekly. Ranging from our flagship live match day programme through to non live documentary programmes. You will work closely with the rest of the design team but have a strong relationship with our broadcast producers and directors, knowing our output like the back of your hand, living and breathing football broadcast. You will help develop programme identities, build templates for our live graphics partners to use, build graphics for show features and produce static assets for the Motion Designers to animate. You will work on quick turn around projects to season long projects, all helping to deliver best in class broadcast design. If you love broadcast design and football, this is the job for you.
You must be comfortable working within a team and self directed. You will work closely with motion designers to help translate your work across the relevant platforms. The team work with archive footage and photography as well as original content.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Working as part of a dedicated PLP Creative Team our Middleweight Static Graphic designer will work on briefs from conception through to execution across broadcast features, live studio shows, promos and digital content.
- Day to day the Middleweight Static Graphic Designer will work closely with Creatives, Producers and Directors to deliver projects on brief and on time.
- Our Middleweight Static Graphic Designer will be an active source of inspiration for Motion Designers, Creative producers and colleagues, regularly sharing ideas and thoughts.
- Our Middleweight Static Graphic Designer will show a complete understanding of the core Premier League brand guidelines and be comfortable operating in and around them.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
- Typically 3+ years in design with an with an outstanding portfolio showing a range of content, broadcast and campaign examples.
- A proven track record of delivering brilliant static design.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas into final design.
- Ability to collaborate with peers to produce best in class design.
- Ability to tell a visual story concisely.
- Highly proficient within the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about football design and current design trends.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst managing own schedule.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent football knowledge (with a focus on Premier League).
