We are now looking for an Electrician to provide a mobile facilities maintenance service across a single rail and transportation contract across North Lancashire

Here you will provide electrical maintenance work to train stations, focusing on lighting and power, and supporting on small projects such as LED light installs.

Work is predominantly electrical and lone working, however there will be small plumbing/mechanical and fabric jobs to complete, and larger jobs will require cooperation with another engineer

Actions will include:

• The main focus of the PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) work will primarily focus on but not limited to the following types of works:
• Emergency lighting tests, tap temperatures, distribution board inspection, occasional work with FCU (Fan coil units) maintenance and air handling units, subcontractor management, moving of materials / deliveries as required.
• There will be a small number of different types of reactive jobs too across basic fabric works such as broken door handles, taps etc
• There will be a number of Project Work available representing the chance of upskilling on new equipment

You need:

• Electrical qualifications and some similar experience
