THE OPPORTUNITY – MODIFICATIONS & DELIVERY LEAD

Required to act as focal point for a capital modifications portfolio in collaboration with the tier one contractor. Leads the initial screening and robust justification of scopes integrated into the portfolio. Will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of modifications scopes through the Spirit Energy Process Lifecycle.

Location: Aberdeen based with travel to site, Barrow and Offshore

Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers. There are 3 core days that must be worked in the office. Tuesday and Wednesday are compulsory days and another day of the workers choosing. The other 2 days can be either worked at home or in the office.

AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…

When in role, you will be:

• Required to manage continuous improvement initiatives on modification delivery
• Responsible for managing regular progress meetings with both onshore and offshore
• Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence
• Accountable for modification documents of scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues, and quality requirements
• Required to ensure all scopes are compliant with Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) Gates
• Understanding of, and ensuring compliance with, appropriate technical standards and specifications.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will someone who:

• Is experienced in working with and empowering tier one contractors to safely deliver modifications scopes.
• Works as an individual contributor that can manage specific allocated work packages and contribute to the successfully delivery of modifications.
• Proactively maintains their technical and interpersonal skills and competencies, ensuring capabilities are up to date and in line with industry/functional best practice and that behaviours are in line with Spirit’s core Values.
• Collaborates effectively, adapting their behaviour and communication as needed to get the best from others. Effectively promotes ideas and opinions and is able to influence others in a constructive way. Maintains good relationships across all organisation levels.
• Is a role model for personal safety leadership and ensure all personnel are performing to the correct company expectations
• Has sufficient knowledge and experience of working within and supervising a multi-disciplined team
• Has significant experience of working within the Oil and Gas industry
• Has demonstrable experience dealing with the safe and efficient execution of project/modifications
