About The Role

Are you a passionate Mortgage Advisor with a love for helping clients achieve their financial goals? Do you thrive on providing exceptional customer service and making complex financial concepts easy to understand? If so, we want you to join our team as a Second Charge Mortgage Advisor!

As a Mortgage Advisor, you’ll be responsible for guiding customers through the process of obtaining a second charge mortgage, helping them to unlock the equity in their property and achieve their financial objectives. With a focus on providing a personalised, consultative service, you’ll work closely with customers to understand their unique needs and circumstances, and identify the correct solutions for their situation.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial advice to our customers sourced through our online and offline channels via phone and chat, providing a seamless and excellent advice experience
  • Put our customers’ interest first and educating them on the novelty and advantages of our product
  • Develop an outstanding applicant journey and advisor tool-set with our tech and product teams to relentlessly improve our customer’s experience
  • Join a growing advice team, driving a direct to customer proposition
  • Work hand-in-hand with our ops teams to drive completions and realize our ambitious growth plans

What about you, what do you need to bring/have?

  • Are fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with +2 years of experience
  • Want to be involved and shape a start-up with an amazing team
  • Know how to manage and grow a constantly evolving pipeline of cases in tight timelines
  • Are keen to work in a fast paced early-stage start-up environment
  • Experienced in a fast paced, direct sales environment
  • Able to understand a lending policy, use it to advise clients and qualify them for eligibility.


Things that would be nice for you to have (please do not let any of these points prevent you from applying):

  • Second Charge lending experience
  • Secured Lending Experience
