The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced customer asset controller to work within our Logistics department to ensure that all Netma owned assets are managed through the relevant Leonardo systems. This will include the receipt of assets, the maintenance of locations, despatch and liaising with external bodies and project management regarding the approval and disposal of assets.

The ideal candidate must possess strong organisational and communication skills, working closely with Operations, Project Management and external customers.

What You Will Do As a Customer Asset Controller

  • The maintenance the NEFMO register for Leonardo Luton and sub-contractors for customer owned test equipment
  • Liaising with Work Share Partners through project management with regards to the tracking and maintenance of customer owned test equipment
  • Liaising with other Leonardo UK Sites for customer owned test equipment
  • Working with Quality Assurance in the creation of site process plan/documentation for customer owned test equipment
  • Liaising with the test equipment controller to ensure all NEFMO items are registered and ensuring SEM (Smart Equipment Management) is up to date with all historical and current information
  • Creation of F3 forms for disposal etc of customer owned test equipment. Making sure forms are signed by Leonardo Quality Assurance and MoD Quality Assurance before submission to BAES/EF/NETMA
  • Creation of F2 forms for transfer of for customer owned test equipment
  • Travel required to RAF Coningsby, suppliers holding Leonardo test equipment and other Leonardo sites
  • Carrying out regular audits of labs in conjunction with test equipment controller to ensure NEFMO register is up to date
  • Processing of scrap equipment through the external and internal processes, liaising with Project Management to ensure all costs are approved.
  • Working with Quality Assurance ensure that Leonardo is compliant with all relevant procedures both internal and external.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits, the co-ordination of any third-party audits and the subsequent follow up on any outstanding actions for Leonardo.

What You Will Need

  • Experience with SAP is essential.
  • Previous asset management
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill and able to foster open communication channels with departments involved in Netma asset activities.
  • Awareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) is an advantage.
