MAG is a leader in aviation technology, dedicated to enhancing the safety and efficiency of air traffic management. We are seeking a highly skilled Air Traffic Engineer, ideally with a DEVOPS skillset to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all Air Traffic Service equipment including, Communications, Navigational aids, Surveillance (CNS),
Meteorological Data Gathering Systems, plus other associated equipment and systems.
You will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of the above systems, with a particular focus on IT infrastructure, software integration, and cybersecurity.
Typical Duties will include:
· Undertake maintenance, installation, and restoration to service activities of all Airport ground-based Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) equipment as required by the Codes of Practice laid down by EMA Approved Maintenance Organisation and CAA
· Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure within ATC systems, including servers, databases, and network configurations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve ATC systems, including component failures, network failures, and system outages.
· Stay informed about the latest developments in CNS- technology, implementing new solutions as appropriate.
· Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of CNS/IT systems, processes, and configurations.
· Participate in planning and executing projects for system upgrades and new deployments.
· Comply and provide input to the ANS Quality Assurance and Safety Management System
· Ability to attain the training requirements and competency levels of EASA Regulation ATM/ANS Annex XIII

· Repair and maintenance experience in the CNS/ATC environment preferable. Strong knowledge of networking, servers, databases, and software development, preferably CompTIA certified.
· Proven experience in IT implementation, and maintenance, preferably in an aviation environment.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
· Must hold a valid UK driving license issued by the DVLA and satisfy the medical criteria for holding an airside-driving permit.
