About the Role
As a Business Development Associate (BDA), you’ll be part of a dynamic, supportive, and truly international team. Your role will be at the intersection of data analytics, AI, and human engagement, helping us understand customer needs and market trends to drive new business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying market trends and whitespace opportunities across sectors, product lines, and use cases
- Engaging with potential clients through targeted outreach and relationship-building
- Connecting with non-client attendees at CRU conferences to develop business opportunities
- Following up with webinar attendees to nurture leads
- Acting as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to share market intelligence
- Representing CRU at industry events and conferences
- Managing client outreach and pipeline tracking using a CRM system
- Supporting telesales campaigns and new business acquisition initiatives
- Providing administrative support as needed
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in sales, telesales, or account management—or a keen interest in developing a career in sales
- A commercial mindset—bonus points if you have a background in engineering, chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in an information subscription business is a plus but not essential
- Strong communication skills, resilience, and a drive to succeed
