Abbots Care is an award-winning Care Provider who places their Service Users and care teams at the centre of our service.
We provide round-the-clock care packages to support people including children, young people and adults who have long term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own home.

We are on the lookout for individuals to help support our client during evenings and overnight when living with her neurological condition.
Our young female client lives in a village on the outskirts of Welwyn Garden City and requires support 24 hours a day 7 days a week with both day and night carers.
She requires regular catheter care, assistance with personal care and bowel management, this is due to being paralysed from the waist down, along with regular repositioning throughout the night to maintain skin integrity.
The ideal candidate will have some understanding of the needs she may require and be willing to learn and adapt to best suit her needs.
The support includes:
- Checking of body temperature
- Ensuring catheter is intact and working correctly at all times
- Hourly repositioning throughout the night
- Preparing lunch for next day
- Ensuring wheelchair is set up and ready to leave the house
- Any other tasks required by client
Experience of working within the care sector is desired but a real interest and passion in supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilled lives is essential. We provide an extensive training programme including the Care Certificate as well as complex care training.
The ideal candidate will have a manual driving license and access to their own vehicle, they will also be required to drive a mobility car.
We are offering both 0 hour contracts and full time contracts of up to 40hrs per week.
Working Hours are between 7pm-7am, including alternate weekends
