We are currently looking for a NPD Project Manager


Follow impressive and consistent organisational growth, the NPD department is seeking a Project Manager to lead the commercialisation of 100s of products into the business.


The purpose of the Project Manager role is to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects by maintaining detailed project timelines, coordinating resources, and facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders. This role is crucial for aligning project initiatives with organisational goals, managing risks, and overcoming challenges to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the desired quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain detailed critical paths for each innovation project, ensuring all key milestones and deadlines are clearly defined and tracked.

  • Conduct top-level feasibility meetings to assess the viability of new projects and initiatives with production, technical, purchasing and commercial, ensuring conformance and alignment with company goals and resources.
  • Track top-level usage of certain flowers to ensure materials have not been over-sold.
  • Send out comprehensive weekly project status updates to both internal teams and external customers, providing clear insights into progress, upcoming tasks, and any roadblocks to success.
  • Conduct regular capacity reviews to ensure that resources are appropriately allocated and that the team can meet project demands without overextending.
  • Responsible for the coordination of production and logistics trials, ensuring a right first time execution and protocol adherence.
  • Monitor and manage lead times for all project components to ensure timely delivery and mitigate any potential delays.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures for all project management processes to ensure consistency, adherence and efficiency.
  • Strategically manage project timelines and resources to avoid peaks in workload and overlap between different customer projects where possible.
  • Oversee the change management process, ensuring that any modifications to the project scope, timeline, or resources are effectively communicated and managed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established processes and protocols, maintaining high standards of project management and delivery.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project timings, reducing lead times, and enhancing overall efficiency.


What you can already do


  • Proficiency with various project management tools and software.
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or a related field.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with process improvement and change management.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a relevant industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with constant project changes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
