Title: NPI Lab Associate

Salary: £26,000 p/a
An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Dundee office for a NPI Lab Associate to join the team due to increased project load and the continuation on SR & Next Gen products. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that all projects within the NPI are supported with assembly aid.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Build A Model ATM prototypes
- Functional Test A model, prototypes as required
- Contribute to the development of product build sequences and MIDAS instructions for volume plants
- Raise any JIRAs required as a result of build issues
- Create MIDAS pages based on A Model configs
- Check boms of each unit during A Model build
- Participate in processing of all DRs. Use feature DRs to complete final Bom ver
- Identify design improvement ideas from DFM/DFA
- Identify need for and support development of build aids for volume plants, templates, equipment, etc.
- Train volume plant associates on NPI releases
- Support of NFI and CRVE and SCER developments
- Maintain material stock levels and records
- Travel globally to support volume plant as required
- Foster close working relationships with other product development teams
- Bench set ups for a-model build
- 3d Proto type
- Lab layout maintenance
Basic Qualifications
- 4 Nat 5 level qualifications including Maths and English.
- Applicants must be self motivated, capable of working unsupervised and willing to learn new skills
- Must be able to use MS Office suite (especially Outlook, Word and Excel)
- High motivation level and self-initiative
- Ability to prioritize, organize, multitask, strong team work
- Strong logic thinking, problem analysis and solving skill
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
Optional Skills (preferred But Not Essential)
- Previous loading bank or warehousing knowledge.
- Previous be mechanical assembly knowledge
