Enforcement Officer Role Profile

Care about our local area, annoyed by people dumping waste? We are looking for a multi-tasking Enforcement Officer to work in the Environmental Protection team. If you like to be kept busy, then this is the job for you. Focusing on the enforcement of waste, dog control and enviro-crime, you should be prepared to get your hands dirty and, on any day, you could be searching fly tipped waste, collecting stray dogs or issuing legal notices to those found committing environmental offences. Investigation skills are key to this role, including desk-based investigations, so if you are a keen to tackle local environmental issues and make Plymouth a place to be proud to live in, then apply now.

You should have excellent investigative and communications skills and relevant experience in an enforcement-based role with good attention to detail. You must be physically fit, able to climb ladders and hold a full driving licence.
