Description
We are looking to recruit an Off Site Grader for our customer site in Aylesbury.
As an Off Site Grader for ENVA, you will be responsible for accurately observing and checking over white goods such as fridges, washing machines, cookers and other white goods. Using a step by step check system and knowledge of white good components, each item will be checked over to determine if it is high enough quality to be selected and then sent back to the engineers to be worked on. This is a vital role in the Reuse sector of the business and the sustainability of used white goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual checks on all white good items arriving on site
- Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and outlined criteria
- Health & Safety: Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies. Adhere to all on site rules and regulations
- Stock Check and Paperwork: Carry out daily paperwork regarding stock that has been checked and passed all checks needed, perform weekly stock checks of items kept on site ready for transport
- Safe working: Using sack trucks and moving heavy white good items safely
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Teamwork: Work alongside Forklift drivers and floor staff while reporting back to your manager daily

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in a warehouse or with white good is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety practices.
- Able to lift and move heavy goods
