Job Title: Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: £30,135 will be prorated for part time hours

Location: Pets’n’Vets, Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:30 AM, 7 nights on 14 nights off

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key member of the nursing team, working effectively with the Lead OOH RVN and OOH PCAs to provide the highest standard of nursing care to a range of medical and surgical cases. In the evenings you will liaise with our ward RVN and vet to create overnight nursing plans, and in the mornings you will provide a comprehensive handover to the day team. We encourage all of our RVNs to express their opinions on cases and expect them to understand each patient’s history and reason for hospitalisation – your opinion is valued. The role is 7 nights on, 14 nights off which offers a great work life balance while still offering a salary that reflects the value we place in our nursing team.
