We are expanding our Operational and Technical Support Team in the Regulatory Services Partnership that serves the vibrant boroughs of Merton, Richmond-upon-Thames and Wandsworth.

The Operational and Technical Support Team provide the front end, customer service and administrative support to the following teams:

• Licensing
• Food and Safety
• Trading Standards
• Pest Control
• Air Quality and Pollution
• Noise and Nuisance
• Private Sector Housing
  
  

Wandsworth Will Be Implementing Two New Discretionary Housing Licensing Schemes On 1st July, Aiming To Improve Property Standards, Combat Rogue Landlords, And Deliver a Fairer Private Rented Sector. As a Result, There Are Several Exciting Opportunities That Are Being Individually Advertised

• This advert is for the 4 full time Operational and Technical Support Officer positions**
  
  

Primary responsibility of this team will be to implement the new licensing schemes with the main tasks being:

• The first point of contact for phone calls, emails and online forms.
• Processing applications, licenses, complaints, payments and appointments
• Scheduling Inspections
• Signposting and providing advice where appropriate
• Completing incoming work ensuring timeframes and deadlines are met.
