They are a growing London bank (part of a growing global bank) seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operational Risk Analyst to join their 5 person risk team. his role is pivotal in supporting the risk management framework through daily risk reporting and ongoing monitoring of operational risk controls. The role will provide an opportunity to make a significant impact within a close-knit team and a smaller banking environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily reporting on operational risks, highlighting key issues and trends to senior management.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing risk frameworks and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Identify operational risk exposures and work collaboratively with business units to mitigate risks.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk policies and procedures.
• Prepare clear and concise risk reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for risk-related queries and support risk awareness initiatives across the bank.

Candidate Profile:

• At least 3 years proven experience in operational risk analysis or a similar risk management role within a banking environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of operational risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation techniques.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in risk reporting tools and Microsoft Office suite.
