Our clients are the largest water companies in the UK, responsible for water and wastewater services. Their purpose is to deliver their services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long-term value for all.

You’ll Need To Have

• You have experience at operating at senior role in utility sector with specific understanding of outcome and delivery drivers, challenges and budgets. An expert communicator, you should have access to senior contacts across the utility sector including regulated companies, suppliers, product manufacturers and SME organisations.
• You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
• Relevant degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Appropriate project management qualification (APM, Prince2, etc).
• Working knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
  
  

You’ll Also Have

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Water sector.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
• Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the future of the water industry.
• Knowledge and expertise on contract development of water and wastewater capital improvements, Maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge and advice on Water Industry and current/emerging legislation.
