An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join our team at Garstang. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a successful career within Haldane Fisher.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage all aspects of Branch operations including the Sawmill, Treatment Tank and training of staff
- Coordinating and helping with deliveries, customer collections and daily duties
- Managing health and safety on a daily basis whilst ensuring a high standard of housekeeping
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels in the yard

Skills & Experience:
- Experience in timber, building, construction or home improvement desirable but not essential.
- Management experience in any industry is essential and will be considered.
- Stock control/management - Goods inward/outward experience in any industry.
- For candidates not from a related industry you must have demonstrated experience and ability to adjust to a new industry, learn products and get up to speed efficiently.
- Health & Safety experience essential.
- Customer/client engagement skills and experience essential.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- IT Literacy.
