Description
Operation Managers are responsible for leading the Production team within the business unit, you need to achieve the profit and performance targets set by the factory manager. Drive continuous improvement through maximising operational effectiveness and efficiencies whilst reducing costs through the development of people, processes and systems. Sets improvement strategies for own business unit KPI’s. Build and foster enhanced teamwork within the specific department.
For this role you will need to have chilled ready meal knowledge or alternatively chilled desserts or Chilled savoury pastry. Previous experience working for a Company that supply's one of the key retailers would be advantagous.
You will have already worked at a shift Manager level or already be working as an operations / factory Manager and be able to optimise manufacturing performance by implementing new and improved standards with a key focus within the manufacturing process ensuring all goals and targets are met within agreed time, cost, quality, safety, people and environmental parameters.
Qualifications Desirable
Degree in Manufacture / Engineering / Science or another appropriate discipline.
Qualifications Required [Accredited]
Advance Food Safety, Level 3 HACCP and IOSH managing Safety or equivalent experience level.
