Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optical Assistant, located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Optical Assistant will be responsible for assisting customers with eyewear selection, providing information on various products, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include performing preliminary eye tests, maintaining accurate records, and managing stock levels. The role also involves supporting the optometrist during eye examinations and ensuring the retail area is clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
• Experience in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service
• Knowledge of Optometry and the optical industry
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in an optical or healthcare setting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in eyewear or optometry is advantageous
