About the team
At the heart of NEXT we have the HR team supporting all of head office, retail and our warehouses - that's over 50,000 people! Oracle was introduced to support such a large and growing workforce and will ensure that our people continue to be at the centre of NEXT by ensuring we have the software we need to develop current talent, attract new talent to join us as well as the oh so important payroll aspects.
About The Role
You will work closely with a team of Developers to support the configuration of business requirements. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining configurations and fast formulas within the Oracle SaaS environment, as well as resolving any issues within the Oracle Solution. You will provide content for training materials and engage in self-learning to stay updated on new product features. Close collaboration with the team to implement new features will be a key part of your role, along with establishing a presence by representing Next on Oracle’s Customer Connect Portal. Additionally, you will share your knowledge of the Oracle Solution with the wider team.
About You
- Previous experience configuring Oracle Cloud HCM and fast formulae is essential
- Previous experience with Oracle Fusion Time and Labour module
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong communicator with an ability to constructively challenge, facilitate and probe to fully understand the business need, as well as excellent listening skills
- The ability to produce an advanced level of clear, detailed and precise documentation
- The ability to work under pressure and plan, manage and deliver multiple simultaneous activities. This will include good time management skills
- The ability to work in a challenging and demanding environment with changing priorities
- A strong attention to detail with a desire and ability to work accurately
