Position Overview:
Based at the office in Hampden Park , Eastbourne.
We are looking for an Order Coordinator to join a dedicated friendly and knowledgeable Projects team based in Eastbourne. You will have the opportunity to hone and develop your customer service, project management and analytical skills and play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive a great experience during the project delivery stage right through to completion. This will include tasks such as:
- Processing Sales Orders – Documenting all sales, ordering and processing of sales orders.
- Manage Orders/Manage Projects – Ensure that internal departments are provided with the relevant and up to date information to ensure customer orders are dealt with effectively and to minimise delays.
- Internal Communication - Keep all stakeholders up to date on the progress of projects, time frames and proactively communicate with all parties to minimise delays.
- Customer Service – Keeping customers up to date regarding their orders and responding to customer queries.
- Estimating – Understand costs and compile estimates and quotes for customers as well as advising on timeframes to complete projects.
- Shipments – Ensuring all domestic and international shipments are completed.
- Troubleshooting – Ensure that any customer concerns are dealt with effectively.
- External Queries - Be the first point of contact for external enquiries.
- Update Systems - Update internal CRM system in a timely manner to ensure information is current and accurate.
- Customer Meetings - Attend where appropriate and participate in internal planning/production meetings.
- Customer Feedback – Proactively obtain customer feedback and make suggestions on improvements to processes and procedures do drive success.
Skills/experience we are looking for:
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can build great relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Have brilliant numeracy and analytical skills.
- Have great attention to detail and are highly organised.
- Think innovatively and who like to make improvements to processes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Are team players and enjoy getting involved in activities using interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Enjoy seeing a task through to completion and are passionate about receiving great customer feedback.
Not essential, but it would be great if you have:
- Experience with producing estimates and quotes (print estimating would be an advantage but is not essential).
- Knowledge of Agile/Lean manufacturing OR have worked in a manufacturing setting An understanding of quality control and complaints processes
- Studied a subject related to Project Management or have undertaken any Project Management qualifications.
