What will I be doing:
As an OT Control Systems Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions that protect cyber physical systems. You will bring control system engineering experience to our ongoing goal of using AI to deliver and protect cyber physical systems for operational technology.
Working amongst a team of control and software engineers, you will be working with multiple control system hardware and software deployments in an OT focused development laboratory. The core software modules are predominately written in C++ and Python, but you will also have exposure to numerous different supporting and component technologies and applications like Docker and Terraform)
This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.
What experience do I need:
We welcome applications from candidates who have a solution focused mindset combined with an analytical approach to problem-solving. During the interview process you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to program using Python and will show an understanding of writing code in a production environment. Additionally, it’s likely that you’ll be:
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking independent decisions as well as having the ability to work cooperatively within a team,
- Able to show knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics,
- Self-motivated, strong time management skills, and the ability to effectively prioritise a varied workload,
- Software/hardware experience with multiple control system vendor deployments e.g: ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, Mitsubishi, GE, Siemens, Rockwell,
- Linux software development environment.
