Role Purpose
- To manage and coordinate specific work packages on engineering construction projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
- The Package Manager acts as the single point of contact for the assigned scope, ensuring effective planning, integration, and communication across disciplines and stakeholders
What you'll be doing
- Manage the full lifecycle of designated work packages from procurement through to commissioning and handover.
- Develop, implement, and maintain package-specific execution plans.
- Collaborate with planning teams to develop detailed construction and delivery schedules.
- Monitor progress against schedule and implement corrective actions as required.
- Support development of package budgets.
- Monitor package cost performance, manage variations, and report on financial status.
- Interface with procurement to select, negotiate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure contractual deliverables are met, and manage changes or disputes effectively.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other packages, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment.
- Manage interfaces with client, design, commissioning, and operational teams
Who we're looking for
- Formal qualification (BSc/MSc) in Engineering/Construction or experience equivalent
- Proven experience in project or package management on large-scale engineering or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, construction sequencing, and safety standards
