Purpose of Role
The successful applicant will play a key role in delivering PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns for a large e-commerce website featuring over 400,000 unique products and supported by a seven-figure marketing budget. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to advance their Paid Media career.
Reporting to and learning from an experienced Senior Paid Advertising Specialist, you will collaborate with our international Paid Media agency, and other digital marketing specialists, internal merchandising, and product teams.
This is a newly established role at Cromwell, ideal for candidates with a solid understanding of Paid Media and a strong desire to deepen their expertise in PPC. The role is hybrid and flexible, with regular team days at our digital hub in Leicester.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with existing agencies to remain focused on achieving ambitious performance goals.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to optimise the performance of core products.
- Proactively seek to improve landing pages, enhance quality scores, and elevate the customer experience.
- Monitor, analyse, and present campaign performance to key stakeholders.
- Conduct keyword research and identify new growth opportunities.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in the PPC industry.
- Work alongside the Senior Paid Marketing Specialist and Head of Marketing to align PPC activity with broader marketing strategies and establish a long-term plan for functional growth.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- A broad understanding of how PPC integrates with other digital marketing channels.
- Proven ability to create and manage DSA and PMax campaigns on Google and Bing.
- Hands-on experience with PLA, search, and display networks.
- Familiarity with Merchant Centre and product feeds.
- Practical experience using Google Analytics.
- Passionate about PPC with a track record of delivering results.
- Positive, can-do attitude with excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Curious and open to exploring innovative approaches.
- Commercially focused, with a strong drive to increase revenues.
- Ambitious, with a desire to seek out growth opportunities.
