We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Legal Recoveries team in our Leeds office. In this role, you will handle a variety of work types related to the recovery of clients' debts, from pre-action stage to enforcement of a judgment. Your caseload will include both volume and niche matters, providing you with opportunities to grow and utilise your skills effectively.
Responsibilities
- To proactively manage and progress own workload in line with service level agreements, best practice and internal policies and processes.
- To work flexibly in adjusting to changes in priority of workload.
- Awareness of relevant client strategies and ensure implementation on cases / projects.
- Achievement of individual KPI's and contribution to team performance at a high level, including financial and non-financial measures where applicable.
- Exercise expertise in delivery of work for clients and act as a source of technical knowledge on subject matter within the team.
- To research solutions to problems/issues on cases / projects to develop your own technical knowledge.
- To deliver revenue for the team through existing business activity and developing own professional network.
- To contribute to Bid Development cycles as appropriate.
- Full engagement in the Firm's Performance Review cycle.

- Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Experience of working or thriving in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail to be able to carefully analyse information.

- High level of financial and commercial awareness
- Proven track record of success both in terms of financial results and client service.
- Ability to build effective professional relationships both with external clients and internal colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability in your attitude and approach to work
- Business acumen and an understanding of the clients' needs
- Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
