Life on the team

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Partner Manager to join our dynamic and busy Services Partnering Team within our Field and Lifecycle Services Division. The successful individual will be responsible for providing qualification of Domestic and International opportunities, delivering in life Partner Management including Commercial and Contractual management of our key partners within the Managed Services businesses across our International and Domestic business. The role is highly varied and will operate across the Computacenter Group to manage sales opportunities requiring partner outcomes, interfacing with several sales, service management and customer solution design teams. The role provides subject matter expertise to enable growth in global managed services where partner services are a critical part of our overall service offering. A key focus area is to grow our standard service offerings globally and work closely with internal functions in defining required standards.


What you’ll do

To work with Sales, Service Management and Customer Solution design to develop partner Service outcomes

• Provide deal qualification and commercial management of the solution, and partner contracting

• New service take-on activity for international and domestic customers, liaising with internal stakeholders and Partners to support contractual set up and service readiness

• Understand, develop, retain, and grow a partner eco-system, which helps our sales and service management teams to win, renew and innovate on our customer commitments

• Proactively manage Service Partner relationships to ensure commercial and contractual risks are mitigated and managed. Drive and monitor Partner compliance and governance, implementation of standards, rate cards and management of contracts and contractual change

• Commercially manage the partner eco-system, balancing costs and quality to drive competitive advantage and continual service improvement as appropriate to the service and customer requirement

• To support internal change initiatives and drive service improvement activities to enhance the way of working within Services Partnering globally

• International travel may be required occasionally


What you'll need

You have knowledge of the IT industry combined with practical experience (preferred but not essential).

• You have experience in multiple roles (customer facing and internal functions).

• You have experience of managing a partner, or partner eco-system for commercial and contractual purposes across international business.

• You have experience of managing multiple stakeholders to drive programmatic success.

• You are used to working in an international company with multiple service lines, cultures and time zones.

• You have a proven experience of delivering a high level of customer service.

• You will have excellent interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and be able to build relationships at all levels.

• You have excellent commercial management skills, with proven track record.

• You are able to learn, develop and grow in a fast-paced environment.

• You have willingness to ‘get things done’, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.

• You have experience in implementation of standards and process.

• You have excellent presentation and communication skills and are able to proactively engage with internal and external contacts.

• You are confident in the use of technology, Microsoft365 and SharePoint.

• You are highly motivated and have a proactive approach to personal development, with a ‘growth mindset’.

• You have a positive and proactive attitude, with a drive for continuous improvement and a team player.
