Job Description
The finance team at The Guinness Partnership play a critical role in the success of the organisation. With an overall aim of ensuring Guinness has a strong financial base from which we can be a high-performing organisation.
We have a new opportunity for a Payments Officer to join our Finance Team in Oldham part-time 21 hours per week permanent contract.
We are currently operating a hybrid working style which is working 1 day from home and 2 days in the office. The working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will ensure that internal and external queries are resolved promptly. You will support the delivery of key functions such as transaction processing, payment runs and managing payable ledgers.

- Proven customer service experience.
- A commitment to teamwork and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as this tool is used frequently in this role.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 2 (GCSE C+ or equivalent) Maths and English.
