Here at RSM, our people advisory services team helps organisations implement people strategies and tackle challenges through a multi-disciplinary approach across employment tax, legal, payroll, HR, and global mobility. The People and Pay (PAP) division delivers premium payroll solutions to a diverse range of clients, from small enterprises to large corporations across various industries, including retail, manufacturing, and financial services.
As a Payroll Executive based in our Brentwood office, you will ensure accurate and timely outsourced payroll production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations and with a strong focus on customer service. Continuingly adapting to changing landscapes and with a brilliant infrastructure of specialists, training and technology, you’ll be at the forefront of payroll, becoming a true expert and consultant.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll end-to-end production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations within payroll deadlines and requirements.
- Managing payroll deadlines and requirements for your personal portfolio of payroll clients.
- Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations by attending in-house training courses to enable the accurate processing of statutory payments.
- Managing import/export of new employee and timesheet data onto the payroll platform.
- Submitting reports to HMRC via RTI and managing client billing.

- Excellent numerical skills, practical knowledge of payroll calculations, UK legislation and experience with month-end/year-end returns, manual calculations, and multi-frequency payrolls.
