Purpose of the Role
As a PC&I Costing Analyst, you will provide product costings to the Commercial and Operational Teams across Pilgrims Europe, Meals Business Unit.
What will you be doing?
- Complete and review product costing requests, follow standard costing processes and procedures using standard costing templates. Delivering costing ensures accuracy and costing produced on time. (within agreed SLA)
- Provide financial insight and analysis on product costings, including pre- and post-launch. Challenge and influence were relevant to ensure accurate product costings
- Partner with our stakeholders to gather prime cost information, e.g. recipes, labour, packaging format, distribution. Ensure stakeholder’s expectations are managed.
- Become an expert in “Recipe Professor” and SAP “Product costing”. Become the go-to contact for any questions.
- Presentation of product costings to relevant stakeholders
- Support with the delivery of the Annual Budget.
- When Request takes an active role in site projects within Meals business to drive continuous improvements and meet site objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Pilgrim’s Europe procedures by following standardised metrics and reports.
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk.
- Ad-hoc duties/requests from Site / Product costing team.
You Will Need
- You will have strong analytical and numerical skills with knowledge of product costing, ideally within an FMCG organisation.
- Manufacturing & Operational experience preferred but not essential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills, and preferred knowledge of SAP.
- Knowledge of the Recipe professor an advantage.
- Knowledge for SAP an advantage.
- You are a result-driven person with attention to detail and the ability to manage your own time effectively to meet cost deadlines.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships across a matrix organisation.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting weekly deadlines when producing weekly KPIs.
- Keen for a role in Finance.
