People Manager - Finance (FTC)

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive People Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone who is great with people, thrives on making a difference, and knows how to bring HR to life in a fast paced, ever changing environment. This role will be a Fixed Term contract covering Maternity Leave.

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to one of our key business areas, working closely with leaders to provide expert support across the full spectrum of people matters. From employee relations and workforce planning to organisational change and colleague engagement. You’ll help shape the right outcomes for our people and our business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with senior leaders to provide hands on HR support and strategic guidance
• ​Managing complex ER cases, always with a fair, people first approach
• Supporting workforce planning, talent conversations and succession planning
• ​Helping to design and implement departmental change initiatives
• Championing our values and driving positive colleague experience every step of the way

We’re looking for someone who has experience in a people focused HR role, ideally within a fast moving retail or operational environment. You’ll have a strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law with very strong communication skills.
